the striper bite on smith is good. the fish are coming out of the creeks and are in post spawn. which means they are hungry.
the trolling bite is good up to about 8:00 am we are catching good numbers of fish in the 22 to 30 foot range flatline trolling swimbaits.
marks outdoors has a good selection of swimbaits in stock that will produce for stripers, blue seems to be working the best right now.
the topwater bith has been very good in recent weeks mainly on overcast days. look for surfacing fish and work them with chrome and blue redfins. go see markhe has what you need as well for topwater fish.
the nite bite is really starting to pick up on live shad fished at 22 feet. our best weights have come at nite the past couple of weeks with lots of fish in the 15 pound range and several over 20 pounds.
